At the invitation of Nepalese President Bandari, President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Nepal from October 12th to 13th. This is the Chinese President’s visit to Nepal again after 23 years.
The Nigerian side attaches great importance to this visit and regards it as the top priority of this year's diplomacy. President Nie and Prime Minister personally questioned the preparatory work. In Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, photos of the leaders of the two countries have been hoisted on the streets. The welcoming door has been set up on the road to slogan “Welcome to President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China, Long Live Sino-Nepalese Friendship, Congratulations on the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China”. The government and all walks of life are full of expectations for President Xi Jinping's visit.
During the visit, Xi Jinping conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the Chinese people to the Nepalese people. Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Nepal are connected by mountains and rivers and are friendly for generations. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 64 years ago, the two countries uphold the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, inherit traditional friendship, and set a model of mutual respect and equal treatment between different systems and countries. I look forward to welcoming friendship and cooperation with the Nepalese leaders. It is hoped that through this visit, China-Nepal relations will be enhanced, and the two countries will be strengthened to bring more benefits to the two peoples.
